Jenefer Jedele began a PhD program in Fall 2010 in the Department of Health Management and Policy at the University of Michigan. Jenefer received a Master's in Survey
Methodology from the University of Michigan in 2006, and a BA in 1996 from Dickinson College. Her research area focuses on the impact of socio-economic policies on health disparities. Specifically, she is particularly delayed educational attainment and its impacts on depression, physical activity, and alcohol use. The disparities piece comes in when examining differential impacts of delayed educational attainment by race as well as SES. Ms. Jedele is preparing for prelims and is anticipating completion in fall 2012.
